Storm

2.  Storm

The Storm represents chaos and destruction. On the card, we see a tree and a row of houses being uprooted by tumultuous waves. Three men cling to a boat and a woman cries out as a baby is torn from her arms. The raging clouds and lightning render everyone helpless and out of control. If this card has visited you today it can mean that there is a storm raging in your life that has stripped you of the controlled, predictable life that you once knew. Shocking to the core, this card signifies complete and utter destruction. Some part of your life is succumbing to chaos, spinning out of control. Your options are to resist or surrender. Nature will have her way.

If this card was pulled with the intent to provide advice:

Break up or break down, either way, it’s storm season. Receive the chaos. Ride the tidal wave of emotion coming toward you or coming from you. Relinquish control and embrace the destructive forces at this time. Embrace what is and accept that everything will be swept away.
